The Thomas J. Edwards Learning Center, located in 217 Baldy Hall, offers students an opportunity to develop their learning methods through credit-bearing courses in the areas of writing, and mathematics. Instructors trained in these fields present courses in a personalized atmosphere enhanced by tutorial assistance.
Open to any undergraduate student enrolled in the university, the center is not a degree-awarding program, but offers courses that carry regular academic credit.
Fundamental to the center is its free tutoring program. Available on a walk-in basis, tutoring services are offered in mathematics and writing. The Writing Place (209-A Baldy) and The Math Place (209 Baldy) offer students a comfortable and encouraging environment to receive assistance.
